What is polarity and why do we need it in relationships? To feel emotionally connected to your partner, it is important that you have similar values and interests. What makes a passionate relationship is polarity – having differences in core energies. The more opposite the energies between two people, what is known as masculine energy versus feminine energy, the stronger the attraction within the relationship.
In this video, I share why we need polarity to help relationships thrive.
How polarity leads to attraction in relationships
Definition of masculine and feminine energy
Feminine energy is:
- Acceptance
- cultivator
- Creation
- Heat
- Appreciate your feelings
Masculine energy is:
- act
- to achieve
- building
- Right or wrong thinking
- giving
- Protector
- who respect your thoughts
While everyone has both masculine and feminine energy, many women with strong feminine energy date by leading with their masculine energy because that’s how we’ve been successful at work. This is how we do things. We are so good at doing, doing, doing, taking care of things and planning that we may not be able to trust others to step up and make it “right”.
On a date, when we lead with all the doing and planning, we can end up doing things we don’t really want to do. We may resent the men who won’t step up and make plans. Why should they if we do everything?
And men who have strong masculine energy will feel useless. They may ask themselves, “Why does she need a man if she does everything herself?” Either way, you won’t be a successful date.
Being in your feminine energy is not about acting fake or giving up your power.
This does not mean putting yourself down or acting like a helpless damsel in distress. It means leading With your feminine energy qualities – your warmth, expressing your emotions, nurturing, following your passions – and still being proud of all that you have achieved that makes you the unique and amazing woman that you are.
If your dominant energy is masculine, you will have the most passion with someone with a strong feminine energy.
